Quality Control: From Concept to Continuous Improvement

Quality Control at Joldija Group is a comprehensive, multi-stage process embedded into every phase of product development and manufacturing. From early-stage design reviews to final inspections before shipment, we ensure that every detail meets rigorous quality standards. Our dedicated quality teams in Lithuania and China work closely with suppliers to maintain consistent product excellence, drive continuous improvements, and guarantee full compliance with international regulations and client requirements

01 Cross-Functional Planning Meeting

At Joldija, product quality assurance starts early with Cross-Functional Planning Meetings. These sessions bring together diverse expertise—from sales, who understand customer needs, to product managers, technologists, and designers with technical know-how. This proactive step, aligned with ISO project development standards, helps identify and prevent potential issues by reviewing critical factors, usage scenarios, samples, drawings, and all relevant information upfront.

02 Documentation & Drawing Review

We create detailed 2D drawings and clear product descriptions outlining essential specs—materials, colors, coatings, and packaging. Every detail counts. Before production starts, new suppliers undergo a thorough self-assessment, and we personally visit their factories to ensure they can deliver on quality and timelines. Samples are carefully crafted and rigorously tested against our standards. Once approved, these “golden samples” become the benchmark for all future production, securing consistent quality every time.

03 Supplier Qualification & Audits

Before production, new suppliers complete a detailed self-assessment covering company size, capacity, technology, and more. We also conduct regular on-site factory visits to verify their ability to meet our quality standards and delivery timelines.

04 Sample Approval

After sample production, suppliers send samples for our verification. We check conformity against approved samples, client standards, technical drawings, functionality, and color parameters. Approved samples become official benchmarks, confirmed together with the client and securely archived for future reference

05 In-Process Production Audits

To ensure consistent product quality, Joldija performs in-process production audits during manufacturing. In China, our local quality inspectors visit suppliers on-site to review key production stages and assess the quality of semi-finished goods. In Europe, this is handled by our product managers.

06 Final Inspection & Shipment Release

Before any overseas shipment—whether it’s a new product or a repeat order—our team conducts a final inspection to verify dimensions, tolerances, and full compliance with product documentation (PD). Inspection reports are uploaded to our internal system and reviewed by our Quality team in Lithuania. Only approved products proceed to shipping—nonconformities are corrected and rechecked to ensure every order meets our standards.

07 Incoming Inspection & Continuous Improvement

All incoming goods at Joldija’s warehouse undergo a detailed initial inspection. We verify compliance with technical drawings, product documentation (PD), and compare inventory levels for repeat items. Inspection results are documented, shared with suppliers, and used to continuously improve quality. At the end of each year, we analyse both incoming and overseas (e.g. China) inspection reports to spot trends and recurring issues.

Any non-conformities are logged directly in the product’s PD, so that next time both our team and the supplier know what to pay attention to. This helps focus inspections and set clear priorities for improvement.

The process is fully digitalised: from feedback loops with Chinese inspectors to automatic upload of inspection protocols (including photos captured directly via scanner). Relevant team members receive real-time alerts about any updates, approvals, or required changes.

Quality Control of Production Output

A process that ensures manufactured products meet established requirements and specifications. It consists of three main processes:

01 Incoming Quality Control

We verify whether the materials and components meet the required specifications and drawings, as well as customer-approved reference samples. Incoming quality control protocols are managed digitally and include visual documentation. These protocols are accessible to both purchasing and sales departments, enabling smooth communication with suppliers or clients.

02 In-Process Quality Control

Continuous Production Monitoring

All production processes are constantly supervised and inspected to ensure high quality and compliance at every stage — from raw materials to the finished product.

Assembly and Product Verification

Thorough checks are performed to ensure that all required components — such as screws, caps, and brackets — are included in the packaging, and that both the type and quantity of components match the order or technical documentation.

Advanced Supporting Tools

Automatic counters and production lines are used to minimize human error and ensure consistent assembly quality.

Digital Productivity Tracking

Cycle times are digitally tracked in real time, enabling immediate visibility of performance and production efficiency.

03 Final Quality Control

Final inspection ensures that each product meets the required standards before dispatch. All results are recorded in standardized quality control protocols.

The following aspects are checked:

Dimensions

Measured with calipers and scales

Surface quality

Visual inspection and spectrophotometer analysis to detect cracks, color inconsistencies, or defects

Functionality

Functional tests to verify product performance

Weight control

To ensure the precise quantity and accuracy

Certified Quality. Proven Performance.

To ensure lasting reliability, our products are tested for mechanical durability, load resistance, corrosion protection, and chemical safety.

Tests are carried out in accredited laboratories and internally, following strict EN and ISO standards — including:
– Salt spray test (ISO 9227) for corrosion resistance
– Durability and load tests for hinges and drawer runners (EN 15570, EN 15338)
– Chemical analysis for REACH and RoHS compliance

We also conduct internal cycle and corrosion tests to ensure quality across all production batches. Test results are documented and monitored over time.

Compliance

We are proud to collaborate with companies across the globe on a diverse portfolio of projects. We mainly export our products to these markets.

ISO 9001 Certified Quality Management

We have been ISO 9001 certified since 2021 — a globally recognized standard that ensures our products and processes consistently meet both customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

This certification reflects our commitment to quality at every stage: from clearly documented processes and full traceability, to risk assessment, internal audits, and continuous improvement. We actively track performance, address non-conformities, and invest in ongoing employee training.

For us, ISO 9001 is more than a certificate — it’s the foundation of how we work.

FSC® Certified Sustainability

We have been FSC® certified since 2022 — a mark of responsible forest management and environmentally conscious sourcing.

This certification ensures that the wood and forest-based materials we use come from responsibly managed forests or verified recycled sources. Our products follow FSC labeling standards, supporting sustainability and aligning with global ESG goals.

For us, FSC® means more than compliance — it’s our commitment to a greener future.
